It also features silver-toned hands and bar-shaped hour indexes along with a date display at the three o’clock position. The black-toned, stainless steel unidirectional bezel displays intervals of ten for an elapsed time function. The durable black rubber watch strap is secured with a buckle clasp while the mineral crystal provides excellent protection from unwanted nicks and scratches. The Caravelle by Bulova Men’s Rubber Strap Black Dial Watch is equipped with precise Japanese quartz movement and is water resistant to 165 feet (50 meters).

About Bulova

In 1875, a young Czech immigrant named Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York City, and a legendary American watch brand was born. Bulova was trained as a jeweler, and his expertise carried over into his watchmaking career, which began around 1911 with boudoir clocks and pocket watches, and soon evolved to include what was then one of the latest and most fashionable technological innovations: the wristwatch.

Bulova introduced its first line of wristwatches in 1919. Had to replace the battery for it to work

When I received this watch, it didn’t work. Since the supplier charges $10 restocking fee, I figured I’d see if the battery needed replacement. Sure enough – had to pay $10 for a new battery, but at least I saved on the shipping fees. Should have bought it at Macy’s when I saw it the first time. Nice watch – I blame the supplier (purchased through Amazon but shipped by another supplier).

I was expecting a simpler watch… but I got a great looking one a a lot people alraedy are giving me complements on it. Recomended…
