killer product at a great price

This is a great value – easy to put on and adjust with scissors. Rubber straps are the way to go – don’t pull your hair like links and don’t sweat through and stink like leather. Totally stoked with this band!

great watch band at a great price

I was looking to replace a stainless steel watch band with a comfortable rubber watch band. I found similar products on the web at prices that were much higher. The band was very easy to cut to size, and I was amazed at the comfort of the band as soon as I put my watch on. I was concerned that the rubber straps would be of a cheap quality due to the price of the band, but I was very impressed at the quality of the band. I would like to mention that the watch did fall off my wrist one time due to something striking the buckle. But the watch did not fall off my wrist since. Perhaps I did not have the pin inserted into the buckle properly. I am considering purchasing another rubber watch band made by Modena.

this makes a g-shock stealth perfect!

I love this watch band. The texture is durable and reminds me of a rubber door mat that is 2 layers of soft rubber-the bottom layer is flat while the top layer is a bunch of small knobs of rubber. This design also makes it easy to wipe off dirt before it gets embedded in the band and needs to be washed with soap and water. I have an old (2000) DW6600 Casio g-shock watch that I recently fitted with an all black military stealth bezel. It matches this new band perfectly with a little cutting. What I did was notch the end that goes into the watch down to 16 mm with an exacto knife and then used the 16 mm spring bars that were in the Casio band to hold this watch securely in place (the 16 mm spring bars are fatter than the holes in the band so lube the spring bars up with soap). Then just cut the other end to size and insert the spring bars that hold the clasp.

Oh, one more thing. The band is flat, rather than curved like the modena F1 band (that looks great on a g-shock too). I sprayed Armorall rubber cleaner/protectant on it and wore it a while to help it adjust to the curvature of my wrist. The rubber is so soft that this may not be needed, though.

The only “complaint” I have about this band is that since it is a military band the clasp should be black for night missions.
